How do I get started with Chemistry?

The first step for all new members at Chemistry is to complete the Chemistry Profile.

The Chemistry Profile generally takes about 35 to 40 minutes from start to finish, though you can save your work mid-way through if you're short on time or called away.

Our customer care team reviews every profile (yes, even yours) before it is posted on the site. Allow between 48 and 72 hours for approval. We will notify you via email once your profile has been approved and posted on the site.

Do I have to subscribe to Chemistry to see my new matches?
No, everyone can see up to 5 new matches each day. Only those who wish to continue through the guided communication process must subscribe to Chemistry.

I resigned my subscription a while ago, but I'd like to get started again. How do I reinstate my subscription?

How can I check the status of my Chemistry subscription?
To check subscription status, go to My Account and click on Subscription Status.

What are my payment options?
Chemistry accepts your payments by credit/debit card.

What credit cards does Chemistry accept?
Chemistry accepts the following credit cards: American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard and Visa

Why am I getting an error message when I attempt to subscribe to Chemistry?
There are a few reasons you could receive an error when subscribing:
Is your credit / debit card number correct?
Has your credit / debit card expired?
Have you exceeded your credit limit?
Try re-entering your information or using a different form of payment. If you still experience problems, please feel free to contact us.

Why was my subscription automatically renewed?
If you pay by credit or debt card you are charged immediately for your subscription package. When your initial subscription term expires, we automatically renew your subscription each month at the low monthly value rate unless you choose a different subscription package or resign your Chemistry subscription prior to that date.

How do I update/change my credit/debit card?
Simply go to My Account, click on Subscription Status, and then select Update link next to Active Credit Card #.
